Art Direction for Netflix Japan’s multi-contents campaign targeting Spring Holiday in Japan. The campaign was planned to run across cross-media including OOH, digital signages, TVC, Social Media and a giveaway campaign.
Design: As a multi-content campaign, the visual direction was to be minimal yet recognizable; let the iconic N Logomark do the talking and give the copies and content plenty of space for expression. Motion graphics and video played a big role in this campaign. From the screens inside of trains and digital signage at the stations, as well as TVC and Social Media, each venue presented unique opportunities. Although specs and the duration varied, the goal was to deliver the feeling of excitement from all of the content that Netflix has on offer.
To spread more awareness of Lion’s floral fabric softeners, Aroma Rich, the team created an event in Tokyo during the hot summer where the audience can explore various scents and create a custom-printed fan.
Design: Envisioning the flowers traveling in the breeze as scents, we created visuals that are playful, airy and active.
Sense Your Aroma Gallery Event: Installations of fans fanning various scents of the fabric softeners, each audience can find their favorite scent. With the custom-developed photo booth, audience can create the custom fan that are unique to the color of the clothes. The camera snaps a photo and extracts the colors from the audience’s clothes and translates that data to specific colors and flowers which then get printed on the fan with a 3D printer.
